Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Mathematics Product Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the development and management of our mathematics-related products. This role requires a strong background in mathematics and statistics, combined with excellent organizational and analytical skills. Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of mathematics-related product development and management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the mathematics and statistics market, including emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Drive product roadmap and feature prioritization, ensuring clear communication and alignment across teams.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to oversee the development and delivery of high-quality mathematics products.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor product performance and gather feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous product enhancement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mathematics and statistics, and leverage that knowledge to drive innovation and differentiation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Strong background in mathematics and statistics, with a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and their applications.
- Proven experience in product management or a related role, preferably within the mathematics or education technology industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable product strategies.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Solid understanding of software development processes and ability to work closely with engineering teams.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools and applications related to mathematics and statistics.
